| Leah Rae Brown grew up in Rogers Park and continues
to grace the neighborhood with her creative and talented presence.
In 1996, she was compelled to run off to college getting her BA in
Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University. Not suited
for the small town life in Cardondale, she went to Los Angeles to
do an internship with a documentary production company. She then dashed
off to experience southern hospitality, moving to Austin, Texas for
two years. But the rolling and bubbly waves of Lake Michigan called
her back to Chicago where she has smiled her way through the busy
city life for the last year. She now has reclaimed her residence in
Rogers Park and enjoys its diversity and charm |
