Jennifer Clark
Loyola University Chicago
April 2006

Where were you born and raised?
On the southside of Chicago, in the baddest part of town (sing to the tune of Bad Bad Leroy Brown)

What are you passionate about and how are you fulfilling that passion?
Local Politics and the ability of a small group of passionate people to truely change the course of history.

What do you like about Rogers Park?
The people

Which five people (living or dead) would you invite to a dinner party?
Lucy Stone, Barak Obama, Amy Rey, Kurt Vonnegut, Bob Dylan

If you had one month to live, how would you spend that month?
Doing the same thing I do every day (is that really weird?)

What is something that you have learned about life?
I can't change other people's actions. I can only continue to do what I think is rightand hope that other people get on board in their own time. That's professional and personal.

What do you like to stay home to do?
Make popcorn, lie on the couch, watch tv, pet my cats. I can't do that anywhere but home.

What place in Rogers Park, past or present, has special meaning to you?
Calvary Cemetary. I've been running past it for the past 15 years and I always think about life and death; the lake is life for me (I'm a pisces) and the cemetary is death and the Sheridan Road between them could go either way - I'm running the line between life and death - literally!

What two establishments in Rogers Park besides your own do you tell your friends about?
The Morseland! The Heartland! Jamaica Jerk! (And I used to rave about Jarvis Liquors' wine selection - bring it back!)
