Duke's Bar, located in Rogers Park's expanding arts and music corridor
along Morse and Glenwood Avenues. Duke's has been a neighborhood
mainstay since 1968. Two blocks from Sheridan Road, and just steps from
the Morse Avenue. Duke's is a friendly local tavern that does double
duty as a sports bar and a live music venue. Five televisions feature constant
coverage of local and national games, with Chicago teams featured heavily.
In the side lounge, Chicago's best musicians can be seen
performing Thursday thru Sunday. Blues, country,and Americana are
the main offerings, with guest artists often sitting in. The entertainment
starts at 9pm. There is never a cover charge. Free parking is provided
in a convenient lot behind the bar
